ABOUT BYTES - Inspiring young change makers to hack their world for good

The Bytes Project is a community youth organisation that has worked with young people across Northern Ireland since 1993. We take an inclusive, cross-community approach that aims to provide participants with a safe space to learn, forge friendships and gain qualifications.

Working with young people is at the heart of our approach. Our groups are made up of young people - usually aged 14 and above - from various circumstances and with a wide range of needs. In partnership with community organisations and other charities, we try to ensure that young people benefit from their time with us and that they can continue to succeed when they move on.

Ultimately, we want to see the young people we work with overcome the barriers they face become change makers in their community, and in Northern Ireland at large. Whether it is through teaching them new skills, boosting their confidence, providing a pathway to work or helping them deal with personal issues, Bytes is committed to helping young people build new futures.
